Sunset At Las Cabanas - El Nido

Beautiful views but very inconvenient access.

Had very special 2 nights here. The room was lovely, with a private bathroom. Best possible location and overall the staff was nice. We concluded the day with a sightseeing through Mangrove Ecopark at a short distance from the hotel.

Climate control and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels were available in my bungalow. The food selection was delicious.

The staff were helpful, offering to carry our luggage across the sandy terrain to our room, making our arrival much easier.

The access to the hotel was quite challenging, requiring us to walk about 10 minutes over sand and rocks, inconvenient with our luggage.

Access to the hotel is no joke. Expect a trek through sandy and rocky beach where you might end up with wet shoes or sweaty backs. The air conditioning unit in the room can be loud, and the limited bathroom amenities-like just one towel per person and no space for toiletries-leave something to be desired. Plus, if you're in the mood to swim in the pool, you'll need to shell out an extra 250 pesos, and the breakfast options might not quite match the expectations either, requiring additional payments for some choices. To top it off, power outages occurred twice , which can be quite a buzzkill.

This hotel is an excellent home base for exploring El Nido. the location is stunning and exceptional. - I always choose this place when I visit El Nido.

The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice and courteous; there was a great selection of food for breakfast that was delicious; the hotel was right next to the beach, making it convenient for relaxation.
